How We Verify Coupons
Most coupon sites list dozens of codes and hope one works. We publish fewer offers, but each one goes through the same manual process before it appears on Simplydcoupon.
Our verification process
- Source the offer. We collect codes from the store's own site, newsletters, and official partner programs โ not from other coupon aggregators.
- Test at checkout. We add a real product to the cart and apply the code. If it doesn't reduce the price (or grant the stated benefit), it doesn't get published.
- Record the result. We note the exact discount, any conditions (minimum order, first-order-only, exclusions) and the date of the test. That date is what a page's green "Codes re-tested" stamp shows.
- Re-date only after re-testing. When we re-run the checkout test on a page, its stamp moves to the new date. We never bump a date โ or the month in a page title โ without actually re-running the test. If a page carries no stamp, it has not been re-tested since it was first published: treat its codes as unconfirmed, and please tell us if one fails.
Where we currently stand. This is a small, hand-run site, not an automated feed. Re-testing happens in passes rather than on a fixed daily or weekly cycle, so at any moment some pages carry a recent stamp and others carry none. We would rather show you that gap than paper over it with a date we didn't earn.
What we don't do
- No fabricated "20% OFF" codes that never existed.
- No recycling of long-dead codes to pad a list.
- No ranking offers by commission โ the largest genuine discount is listed first.
If a code fails for you, please report it. Reader reports are re-checked first in the next verification pass.
